My babies !
So I'm at the hair salon sitting under the dryer and my phone rings. It's one of the girls I with with at my job, which is at a daycare. My babies were on the phone screaming my name. They are so cute ! They cant pronounce my name yet so they call me Nina for short. I love going to work , they all wait at the window for me. It's such a great feeling when I come into work and they are all so happy to see me ! I love them !

I would like to learn more about your daycare position. Where is the day care center? When did you begin working there? What is your job there? What are the ages of the children with whom you work? What do you do with these children each time you go there? What are you learning about these young people that can help you as you prepare to become a teacher? What have you learned in your child psychology class that is helping you with this job? OR, perhaps I am incorrect and you are babysitting with a family of young children? I am not exactly sure why these children called you and what your relationship is with them. Please make this a little clearer. i look forward to learning more about each of these children and about your job. Dr. Ries
ReplyDeleteI work at a day care in Roseland. I began working there in September so I have been there for about six months now. I work with the babies who are 18 months to two years old. There is eight kids in my class. Most of them are now two. There is another teacher for this class as well. At the age I am working with, we are learning colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. Each child is different and is learning at different paces which I will be seeing in a classroom. I think that really helps me for when I become an elementary school teacher. I use colored blocks and for example, I'll ask them which one is blue and they will point to it. They love to be read to. So I read books to them. Also, we do finger painting and arts and crafts. They love to paint. Today, we actually sponge painted with different colors and shapes. Tomorrow I will cut them out and make it into a huge rainbow for the bulletin board. I'll post a picture tomorrow of the bulletin board! :)
